We had an eventful exit from Vuda Point Marina. Leaving the berth, it quickly become apparent our folding prop was absent. I dove, recovered the troublemaker and put on our spare. Thankfully, we then had a relatively easy passage to Tanna. C Star, however, had their tranmission pack it in so had to sail into Port Resolution. We journeyed up to the volcano by 4x4 and hiked the cone to watch Mother Nature's fireworks.

Next morning we visited a 50 foot yacht that suffered an engine failure when it was leaving Port Resolution in July. Somber reminder of the power of the sea.
We sailed up to Port Vila with CStar where they hope to find a wizard to fix their transmission. We are waiting for our Australian visas and trying to fix our antique Autohelm self-steering. Ah, the joys of cruising...
