Atlantic crossing

After a quiet Christmas on La Gomera with friends from SV Gannet we set sail from the Canaries on December 28.

after motoring for half a day we had 15-20 knots most of the way

Emma stood two day watches and one night watch

moon still up, going wing and wing

our torn main showing red dust from the Sahara

skipper and first mate changing sails

after 21 days we anchored in Carlisle Bay, Barbados

after 3 days in Barbados we sailed overnight to Grenada and anchored in Prickly Bay

in an effort to keep the shipyards of the world busy we hauled out, once again
